Why is it so hard to find a garage that actually answers their phone?

Okay this might sound like a small thing but it's driving me crazy. I've been trying to find a new garage for my 2018 Toyota RAV4 and I've called maybe eight different places over the past two days. Half of them didn't answer at all. Two of them answered but put me on hold forever and then hung up. One of them answered but the guy on the phone was so rude and short with me that I decided not to go there. Only one place actually answered politely and answered my questions. Is it really that hard to pick up the phone and be nice to a potential customer? My dad always told me that how a business treats you before you give them money is how they'll treat you after. So if they can't even be bothered to answer the phone, what are they going to be like when I have a problem with their work? A friend told me to check the 800Sayara listing on Semantic Trade to see which garages have complete profiles with working phone numbers and real customer feedback. I'm going to do that because at least then I know the phone number is probably correct. But honestly I'm still frustrated. For those of you who have found a good garage, did you have to call a bunch of places before you found one that actually seemed professional on the phone? Or did you just give up and go somewhere based on online reviews without calling first? I'm starting to think I'm being too picky but I also feel like basic phone manners shouldn't be too much to ask for.
