What’s your quick check before printing important documents?

Hi everyone,
This might be a bit off-topic, but I’ve noticed something during travel and work setups — sometimes when I need to print something important (like tickets, forms, or documents), the printer just doesn’t respond or gives bad output.
It’s especially frustrating when you’re in a new place or using a different setup and don’t have time to troubleshoot properly.
Recently, I started doing a quick check before printing anything important, just to make sure the printer is actually working. It saves time and avoids last-minute issues.
For testing, I’ve been using a simple test page approach (something like this:MyPrintTest) to quickly confirm everything is fine before printing actual documents.
Just curious:
- Do you do any quick checks before printing?
- Or do you usually deal with issues only when something goes wrong?
Would be interesting to hear your experience.
