Unity Exchange vs the established DEXes — is it carving out a real niche or just another fork?

The DEX space is crowded to put it mildly, so when Unity Exchange started getting mentions I was skeptical. After spending some time with it, I think there's a genuine differentiator in how they're handling liquidity provider incentives — the reward structure appears to reduce the impermanent loss exposure that kills smaller LPs on other platforms. Whether that actually holds under high volatility conditions is something only live data will prove. The UI is clean and the gas optimization on transactions was noticeably better than what I've seen on comparable platforms this month. Not calling it a Uniswap killer — that's lazy framing — but Unity Exchange deserves to be watched as a serious contender in the mid-tier DEX category. Thoughts from anyone who's provided liquidity there?
