Struggling to Keep My Homemade Cookies Fresh – Found a Surprising Fix

    Hey everyone,

I’ve been running into an issue lately and thought someone here might relate or have suggestions. I started baking cookies at home (mainly for small local markets and friends), but I couldn’t figure out how to keep them fresh for more than a couple of days. I tried regular plastic bags and containers, but the cookies either got soft too quickly or lost their flavor.

After doing a bit of digging and testing different packaging methods, I stumbled on something that actually worked better than expected — Mylar bags specifically designed for cookies. I wasn’t even aware such packaging existed until I came across this product page: Custom Cookies Mylar Bags form Packaging Forest LLC

These bags are resealable, block out moisture and air, and surprisingly made a big difference in keeping my cookies crisp and flavorful for much longer. Just thought I’d share in case anyone else here is into small food businesses or simply enjoys baking and storing stuff for longer periods.

Would love to hear if others have tried something similar or have other packaging hacks to recommend!
