    For the first time this offseason, the New England Patriots rookies and veterans hit the practice fields adjacent to Gillette Stadium and got to work under new head coach Jerod Mayo's instruction.Here's what those in attendance noted about New England's first organized team activity se sion on Monday.7-on-7 drills ():Jacoby Bri sett got the majority of the team's reps at quarterback during the period. Bailey Zappe, Drake Maye and Joe Milton split the rest evenly.Bri sett and Zappe completed 50% of their targets, while the other two hit all of them.New acquisition K.J. Osborn had a drop.11-on-11 drills (and ):Reps were split - Bri sett (eight), Zappe George Hill Jersey (four) and Maye (three).Bri sett completed 83% of his pa ses, Maye completed 67% and Zappe completed his solo attempt.New England's offensive line had multiple people rotating, but the top line included Chukwuma Okorafor, Sidy Sow, David Andrews, Nick Leverett and Mike Onwenu.After practice (via. )Rookie wideouts Javon Baker and Ja'Lynn Polk stayed late to work with Maye.Clips:Drake Maye 2 for his first 2 as OC Alex Van Pelt calls out the color he wants the QBs to throw.Biggest takeaway from this perspective: Maye worked behind Jacoby Bri sett and Bailey Zappe throughout a walk before you run type deal (e.g. just 3 reps in initial 11-on-11).
