Has anyone here successfully run paid ads for an online casino? What worked best?

Yes — but what “works best” depends a lot on GEO, offer type, and how warm or cold the audience is.

For colder audiences, we had better results with native because it gave us more room to educate the click before pushing the registration. Push traffic was cheaper, but it was way more sensitive to offer angle and landing page quality.

What helped most was not trying to scale too early. We tested creatives first, then landing page variations, then signup flow friction. A lot of people blame traffic when the real issue is the conversion path.

If you’re running gambling advertising campaigns, I’d focus on clean compliance-safe creatives, strong pre-lander messaging, a simple signup path, and GEO-specific offers.

That usually matters more than chasing the “perfect” traffic source.
